A service dog can be life-changing, but the cost of obtaining and training one can be a significant barrier. The PAWS Foundation of the Lehigh Valley is committed to helping individuals with physical or psychological disabilities access the support they need to obtain a fully trained service dog.
Through financial assistance and partnerships with qualified service dog organizations, we work to bridge the gap between individuals in need and the service dog resources available to them.
The PAWS Foundation may provide financial assistance for:
🐾 Obtaining a fully trained service dog
🐾 Service dog training expenses
🐾 Emergency veterinary care for qualifying service dogs
Funding is dependent upon available resources, eligibility, and the circumstances of each request. Assistance is not guaranteed.
We are currently developing our service dog assistance application and program guidelines. We want to make sure our process is thorough, fair, and easy to understand.
Applications will be available here once the program is officially launched.
In the meantime, if you have questions about assistance or would like to learn more about the PAWS Foundation, please contact us.
